Sheikh Mohammad Masum Sirhind

Khwaja Muhammad Masum was dearly son of Sheikh Ahmad Mujaddid Alf sani. Born on 11th Shawwal, 1007 hijri/27th April 1599,in the Basi village near Sirhind. He read earlier few books from his elder brother Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq.Memorised Holy Quran in a brief period of three months.He was real successor to his father.His father Sheikh Mujaddid was his first teacher, he learned Arabic, Tafseer, Hadith, Logic, Philosophy, but gain whole education of the Holy Quran and Sunnah from his father, and their big brother Sheikh Mohammad Sadique Sheikh Mohammad Tahir.After death of Sheik Mujaddid, he went to Hajj pilgrimage and stayed for a long time in the Holy City of Madina. He used to teach in Sirhind Mishkatul Masabeeh, Talweeh, Azodi. More than seven thousand of his pupils rose to the position of mystic Sheikhs of the age. He had thousand of the students in Transoxiana. His letters were compiled in three volumes like the Maktubat his father. He died on 9th Rabiul Awwal, 1079 Hijri, /7th August 1668, at Sirhind, East Punjab India.
He used to teach Hadith, Tafseer, Maktoobat, letters of their father everyday.
According to Rauzatul qayyumiah Mughal Emperor Jahangir came to Sirhind for consolation of Sheikh Masum when his great Father Sheikh Ahmad mujaddid Alfsani died.(Rauzatul qayyumiah p:18 part:2)
According to the same author in 1633  Mughal Emperor Shajahan laid the foundation stone to the Red fort in Delhi with the Holy hands of Sheikh Masum.
