Tablighi Jamaat

In the early 1920s, Maulana Mohammad Ilyas kandhlavi prepared a team of young madrasah graduates from Deoband and Saharanpur and sent them to Mewat to establish a network of mosques and Islamic schools movement. He once said that if he had to attribute a name to his movement, it would have been Tehreek-e-Imaan('Imaan/Faith movement'). The people of South Asia started calling the devotees Tableeghi and this name eventually became popular among the common people.
The Centre( or in Urdu Markaz )of the Tablighi jamaat is Masjid Bangla wali, at Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi. Mewat region people were the first companions of Maulana Muhammad Ilyas kandhlavi in this work. After Maulana Muhammad Ilyas death in 19 44, his son Maulana Mohammed Yusuf kandhlavi became second Amir or Hazratji of the Jamaat. Maulana Mohammad Yusuf was a great scholar, he wrote a number of authentic books about the companions of the Prophet PBUH in the Arabic language. His other books are as under Sharh Maani Alaasar, (شرح معانی الآثار)Hayatus Sahabah, (حیاۃ الصحابہ)Muntakhab Ahadees(منتخب احادیث). After his death in 1965, the 3rd Amir or Hazrat Ji became Maulana Inaamul Hassan kandhlavi, after his death in 1995, a short council comprised on Maulana Mohammad Zubair, (son of Maulana Inaamul Hasan), and Maulana Muhammad Saad (great-grandson of Maulana Mohammad Illyas kandhlavi )and others. All of the Shoora council members have died with the passage of time, now just Maulana Saad is alone member remaining, most members of the jamaat agreed with the presidentship of Maulana Saad, Some old members of the Jamaat separated from Maulana Saad, most noteworthy of them is a Maulana Ahmad Lath, who is now living in a mosque of Ajmairi gate Delhi.
Newest matter of Coronavirus in the Nizamuddin Markaz:
Some of the facts about Delhi Nizamuddin Tablighi Jamaat Markaz (centre) should be understood by everyone directly in the easy alphabet.
1- Nizamuddin Police Station is very close to Nizamuddin Markaz so close that even if someone sneezes in the Markaz, the voice will come to the police station so nothing can be done there.

2- In Nizamuddin, this mark is already established freely and all these activities have been conducted since then.

3- Every year, Nizamuddin Markaz always has thousands of people gathered all the time because Markaz definitely comes from all over the world coming and going.

4- There is never any special conference or event in Nizamuddin, there is the same daily routine which always goes on.

5 - The people who gathered in Nizamuddin Markaz were there before Lockdown after Lockdown neither did any gathering there nor did anyone go from there.

6- Nizamuddin Markaz and Nizamuddin have always had good coordination and a sense of co-operation in local administration.

7-Even today with the same cooperation and co-ordination everything is going to be investigated.

8- In Nizamuddin Markaz, not a single gathering of people trapped in Lockdown is clearly found corona positive.
The rest of the media sprang up an issue, the fools caught up and rubbed the fool in their mouths.
Note - I am not defensive at all, just tell the facts carefully.

PRESS NOTE ISSUED BY MARKAZ NIZAMUDDIN DATED 31.03.2020

Markaz Nizamuddin is the international headquarters of Tablighi Jamaat for close to 100 years. Visitors/guests/devotees/worshippers from across the globe throng the place for pre-scheduled programs lasting for no more than 3-5 days. All the programs are decided a year in advance in order to facilitate visitors from far-off places to plan their participation.

When Hon’ble Prime Minister announced the “Janta Curfew”, for 22nd March 2020, the ongoing program in Markaz Nizamuddin was discontinued immediately, however, due to sudden cancellation of rail services across the country on 21st March 2020, a large group of visitors who had to depart by way of railways got stuck in the Markaz premises.

On 22nd March 2020, “Janta Curfew” was observed and accordingly, visitors were advised not to venture out until 9 PM as desired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, therefore the plans to move back to their native places by way of means other than railways also did not materialize. Before the Janta Curfew could be lifted at 9 PM, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi announced lockdown of Delhi beginning at 6 AM on 23rd March 2020 till 31st March 2020, thereby further diminishing any chances of these visitors availing road transport for their journey back home. Despite this challenging situation, with the help of Markaz administration, around fifteen hundred visitors left Markaz Nizamuddin by availing whatever meagre transport was available.

Suddenly on the evening of 23rd March, a further nationwide lockdown was announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister with a clear message for people to stay-put wherever they are. Under such compelling circumstances there was no option for Markaz Nizamuddin but to accommodate the stranded visitors with prescribed medical precautions till such time that situation becomes conducive for their movement or arrangements are made by the authorities.

On 24th March 2020, suddenly a notice was issued by SHO, P.S. Hazrat Nizamuddin, seeking closure of Markaz premises. The same was responded on 24th March 2020, stating that the compliance of the directions regarding the closure of Markaz is already underway and around 1500 people had departed the previous day, thus leaving around 1000 visitors belonging to different states and nationalities in Markaz. It was also informed that the Ld. SDM concerned had been requested to issue vehicle passes so that the remaining people could be sent back to their native places outside of Delhi. It is relevant to indicate here that lists of 17 vehicles with registration numbers along with the names of the drivers plus their license details were submitted to the Ld. SDM so that the stranded visitors/guests could be ferried towards their destination. The requisite permission is still awaited.

On 25th March 2020, the Tehsildar along with medical team visited the Markaz, full cooperation was provided for their inspection as well as in the preparation of a list of visitors, many of whom were examined by them.

On 26th March 2020, the Ld. SDM visited Markaz Nizamuddin and called us for a further meeting with the Ld. DM. We met the Ld. DM apprised him of the stranded visitors and once again sought permission for the vehicles arranged by us.

The next day, i.e. 27th March 2020, six persons were taken for a medical check-up.

On 28th March 2020, the Ld. SDM and WHO team visited the Markaz and 33 persons were taken for medical checkup to Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital. Surprisingly on the same day, another notice was issued, this time by the Office of ACP, Lajpat Nagar, reiterating the prohibitory orders and warning of legal action, this being totally oblivious of the above deliberations and steps that had already been taken by Markaz Nizamuddin in consultation with the authorities. However, the same was replied in detail vide letter dated 29th March 2020.

Yesterday, 30th March 2020, a rumour started gaining ground across social media that allegedly people affected with COVID-19 are present in Markaz. It is also being circulated that certain deaths have occurred due to the same. Unexpectedly, as reported by ANI, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi went on to say that he has directed authorities to take legal action against the administration of Markaz. It is humbly stated that if the above fact-check could have been done by the Office of Hon’ble Chief Minister, the authorities would have apprised him about their visits, deliberations and cooperation extended by the Markaz in order to disperse the remaining visitors. During this entire episode, Markaz Nizamuddin never violated any provision of law, and always tried to act with compassion and reason towards the visitors who came to Delhi from different states. It did not let them violate the medical guidelines by thronging ISBTs or roaming on the streets.

Markaz Nizamuddin would like to humbly offer the entire premises as a quarantine facility to help the authorities tide-over the challenge of current pandemic. Throughout its 100-year existence, Markaz Nizamuddin has an unblemished history of cooperating with administration/ authorities and always upholding the rule of law in letter and spirit. In the present challenge of COVID-19, Markaz stands with the law enforcement authorities and shall remain forthcoming in complying with all the guidelines issued by them.

The reality of the Tablighi Jamaat is hidden in fact. It is the Ashram type world-famous Islamic Center. Almost five thousand people from all over the world live here every time, this type of event held there a daily basis. Tablighi Jamaat works only in mosques, maybe there will be found several people's of Jamaat in other cities in mosques, they go to every mosque. This is a group of God-fearing personalities that are just related to the God, supplicate and pray for the world peace, they every day do charity in poor people without disclosing their donations, they weep in the night before God every night. They say to the people particularly about 7 attributes: please(1) (توحید)worship Allah that is alone, and Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah,(2)(نماز)Perform prayer (3)(علم)gain knowledge (4)(ذکر)Memorize Allah in the most of time(5)(اکرام مسلم)respect the humanity (6)(اخلاص نیت) have sincerity in the intentions(7)(تفریغ وقت)giving time in the way of God, means to go door to door to spread the message of God. They say it is our duty to tell humanity the message of Allah to save them from Hell, and show them the way of truth and honesty, for spreading these above mentioned seven things they go to the mosques to mosques. They say, everyone should be humble, no show-off, no proudful because it may humiliate anyone. They give food in the Markaz to all people, several none Muslim needy labourers also eat there fearlessly. All workers of the Markaz are volunteers, speeches of Ulema start there, after morning prayer, (فجر)till the afternoon prayer(ظہر), then till Asr(عصر )prayer, after asr do zikr (ذکر)memories, Allah, after evening prayer speech starts till isha(عشاء) prayer. They sleep early and woke up in the early night, to perform tahajjud (تہجد)prayer at 4 am, then weep before Allah, and do duaدعاءfive the world from the fire of Hell.

some  fake news:

First - The video throwing spit by Jamati turned out to be an old incident in Mumbai. It had nothing to do with Markaz.  The video licking the dishes was also fake.

Second: - Absolute allegations of tampering of nurses by Jamati in isolation, so far no evidence has been found.

Third: - There was a ruckus when Jamati did not get non-veg food and the news was defecated in the open and the local police administration also informed about this.

Fourth: - In Indore, two Hindus were also arrested along with Muslims for expelling doctors and nurses and throwing stones at the police.

Fifth: - In Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, the news of the police officer Abid Khan beating the priest on the ground and beating it also turned out to be wrong.

Sixth: - The old man selling fruits in Madhya Pradesh was also mentally ill, this video was also old.  It had nothing to do with spreading the corona.

Satma: - On commenting on the Tablighi Jamaat in Allahabad, Mohammad Sona and his associates killed Lotan Nishad.  It turned out to be wrong, the local police administration itself gave this information.

Much such fake news is being spread for propaganda.  Media, news anchors, IT cell, are working day and night in support of the government.  So that their failure should be hidden behind Muslim society.

I do not believe that Muslims do not commit crimes. We have to be alert when selective propaganda goes on.  But until we prove such propaganda wrong, negative neuter has reached every corner of the country.  If a Muslim makes a mistake, punish him twice. But fake news makes no sense to run propaganda.

We too have no grief to write on social media, but people who are very Hindu friends for whom they can give anything, are also overwhelmed by these negative thoughts.  And start questioning the whole religion.  Hearing abuse on fake news, the mind is bursting.

If you have a link to the fact check of any fake news given above, then you can take it in the comment box. Share this post, paste the copy without asking.  Put on Whatsapp status and Instagram story.

Remember, we have social media as a medium through which people can spread even the hidden truth behind this fake news.

The selection of words is simply understandable.

Revealing the false propaganda of spreading corona on Tablighi Jamaat in the country and the conspiracy of the media to defame Muslims under this pretext and the silent support of some people in the government behind it, Maulana Syed Arshad Madani, President of Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind said that there were 1640 members of the country's Tablighi Jamaat, among whom there were no cases other than fraudulent deaths and some reported positive.
In a detailed statement, Maulana Madani while releasing the data collected after hard work said that there were a total of 1640 foreigners in the Tablighi Jamaat, out of which only about 64 reported negative in the medical examination while only two foreign Tablighi Jamaat. The people had died. Of the 64 persons whose report was positive, the report was later negative. That is, everyone was healed.
Among the foreigners stranded at the centre are Russia 1, Indonesia 777, Bangladesh 151, Malaysia 170, Kyrgyzstan 51, Kazakhstan 44, Burma 118, Sudan 24, Singapore 3, South Africa 1, Saudi Arabia 1, Philippines 8, Sri Lanka 44, Nigeria 10, Mozambique 9, Iran 1, Morocco 1, Morocco 2, Nepal 3. Palestine 3, Ireland 12, Ghana 1, France 5, Gambia 2, Ethiopia 8, Djibouti 10, Somali 1, China 4, United Kingdom 4, Congo 1, USA 2, Vietnam 12, Trinidad and Tobago 2, Tanzania 12, Tunisia 1, Brunei 3, Thailand 86, Syria 1, 2 2 Algeria 7, Fiji 15, Senegal 1, Afghanistan 4, of which Delhi has 739 people from different countries and the rest from other provinces of India. But the media had created an atmosphere of hatred against Muslims by falsely accusing the Tablighi Jamaat of spreading corona all over the country. This created an atmosphere of hatred against Muslims all over the country and even led to attacks on them, killing them in lynchings, boycotting vegetable and fruit sellers and violating not only the law of the land but the whole world. The country was discredited and the government remained a silent spectator.
Maulana Madani said that the media and the government, while presenting the data related to Corona, had consistently said that in total there were so many Corona victims, out of which the Tablighi Jamaat members were sometimes told, 20%, sometimes 25%, sometimes 30%. Jamaat members used to release videos saying that we have been tested and everyone's reports have been negative. Thus, not only the media but also some senior ministers of some provinces would try to defame Muslims under the pretext of preaching Jamaat by presenting separate names. And the media kept exaggerating it. Maulana said that at present there are more than 78,000 cases of Corona, now why the government and media do not present the statistics of Muslims? The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other international organizations reacted strongly to the government's and the media's actions, but the government continued to provide separate figures in the name of the Tablighi Jamaat. The goal (hating Muslims) has not been achieved.
